This week, I was able to get the last two clients’ Internship Learning Agreements approved. Two of my clients signed their Project Scopes so I can officially start working on their websites. I was able to complete the Content Outlines for those projects. I only had to complete one Content Audit. I have also been creating a schedule to handle the multiple projects.
I completed the Competitive Analysis Report and the Creative Brief for two of my clients. I am not going too in depth with my reports since they are small companies. I am still trying to figure out which steps and forms in my process needs to be completed for each project. My process is not taking me as long as I estimated so everything should be ahead of schedule. I also sent two of my clients a weekly progress report. I am still waiting on deliverables from three of my clients.
A majority of this week, I have been setting up document templates and spreadsheets to use for each of my clients. I am using different colors and templates for each. Currently, I am in the Site Structure phase for each client. At the end of this phase, I will need to get the clients’ approval on the sitemap and wireframe.

Creating templates that you can use across multiple clients is so helpful and saves so much time. I personally have found that creating a template that had “CLIENT NAME HERE” is a good placeholder. It helps to pinpoint where I need to make appropriate changes. I am also then able to use the “find” tool and search “client name here” to make sure I didn’t miss anything. That’s just something I have found that helps me out a lot.
I hope your clients are able to get you the material you need soon and doesn’t throw off your schduling.
Awesome! How has the content audit gone? I am wondering how I will conduct research on content audits on my own projects, and I will have to do a lot of research on how to do that. I am very glad your projects are moving along smoothly!
I have been going by the work we did in the Design/Implementation/Workflow class. I am going through all the steps we took. But I am using the steps to create my own workflow. I am also creating my own templates to use for future projects so when I start getting clients, I will have my process completed.
Awesome! I have been making a database/wiki of my own templates as well. It will be cool to see these templates evolve as I gain more experience.
