Mini Update

graduates throwing up their caps

What the difference a day makes…

I was able to meet with both of my clients. I was finally able to get some of the content I needed for their websites. I am very happy now. At least I can move forward on their websites a little. I was at a complete standstill.

Tomorrow is the last day of class and I just finished turning in my work that is due right now. I still have 30 days to complete my client websites which is plenty of time. Other than that, I only have a Zoom class tomorrow, then this semester is over. I graduate Saturday and I am totally excited about it. I am a first-generation college student and I am going to work up to getting a Master’s degree. This has been a great experience and I will still make posts to this blog, especially after I finish my websites.

  1. YAY!!! That’s amazing that you were finally able to get some much-needed content. I am so sorry it took so long for you to get it, also resulting in you having to go through getting an incomplete and finishing up everything later.

When you finish and have some time off, try to research different options that you could incorporate into your contract and initial client meetings that express that when you need content/images/information, you need it within a specific timeframe. Then express, again in both contract and meetings with the client, that if you do not receive the information that you requested, there will be additional fees.

I hope that helps you in the future and good luck with the completion of your internship projects and in pursuing your bachelor’s and master’s degrees!
